Cant work out how to put a link up to my local shop. but ive I nearly new bag we could do a deal on. With a roll mat or bedchair, this combo is sound as, fished all year round with it.
bobcullen79 1,495
Most army ones are good if new, you do get the odd one tho and whilst you don't freeze or get cold as such, you do wake a couple times a night have a quick shiver and get back to sleep, if you got cash try the mammut Montana tho I've had one past few years and used it In all conditions, woke up covered in ice and snow more than once l and I'll buy another when this gives up the ghost. If it's for a couple nights one off tho, army will do but buy new, squaddies are horny dirty folk go outdoors mammut 4 90 quid My mummy paid more than that for mine as a Christmas present lol I know cos I dropped enough hints to ensure it was what I got lol I used to have an ex army one like a suit with sleeves legs and a hood ---cant find any of them but feck was that warm .. Think they was German or summat, could fold leg bit up behind you as well my ole man had one when I was a kid, he told us it was so the Germans could run away without getting out there bag lol We had a few of them kicking about with different lads over the years. although they are warm, all the ones Ive come across weren't big enough to keep warm in and be comfortable. Where did all the big sizes go?

DEERMAN 1,020
Army bags are ok but with nicknames like bouching bomb etc are rather large in size and weight ,and watch out for sticky socks in inside pockets Go on cotswoldoutdoor.com some of the mountaineering bags are lightweight and mega warm ,get yourself a little travel pillow and inflatable ground mat and you will never want to get out of your maggot
