socks 32,253
I was listening to Nigel Farage leader of UKIP on the Steve wright show today and he was asked what his hobbies were ... One of them was going to the pub ... good man and he also said he was a passionate fisherman ... When asked do you put them back he replied ... Good lord no I knock them on the head and eat them far to many people in this country think that their food comes shrink wrapped ... its all a product of killing ... Sound like he is very much grounded and is on the side of the hunter ... What do you think ??? .........

Malt 379
Was listening to Radio 2 about Godfrey Bloom after he left UKIP a few weeks back. Some bloke came on moaning about the personal email he got off Bloom when he contacted his office about his stance on 'blood sports.' (Callers words, not mine..) Apparently Bloom replied himself saying he was a towny who didn't have a clue about how the countryside worked and he should stick to things he did understand! I posted that about him on another thread somewhere and all, can't remember which one now.. Big loss to the party IMO.. Apparently the official UKIP stance is to devolve the decisions about hunting to local centres of power, or so I read somewhere a while back..

gonetoearth 5,144
Next year are the euro elections. A mass campain for ukip. Would see them gain seats across the country. Then from a position of power in brussels they could change many things but its down to the great british public looking on here many can not be arsed to support the campain to save the waterloo coursing grounds. By clicking on a web site , never mind going to a polling station quite sad really

BOLIO1 1,078
Thinking about politics of any shade makes me feel dirty but I did join UKIP a couple of years ago after thoroughly perusing their policies and finding them the only party with common sense and to be unafraid to enunciate politically incorrect ideas.
