davis8008 65
I've just brought a barbour wax jacket, well happy with it! Probably the best wax jackets out there, but not cheap!
R.A.W 1,987
I wouldn't be without my barbour It's kept the rain and thorns off my back for years but I find it a bit warm for lamping. It's got tot be worth the extra money

Bosun11 537
After years of trying just about every 'new' material jacket on the market, i'm going back to a Barbour waxy. As has been said, they ain't cheap but get the right one, (i'd always go for a heavy weight) and it'll last years, wax it up regular and it'll feel like a putting on an old friend each time out.... Huan72 687
Had my barbour for years now. I was a bit reluctant to get one at first due to the price. They are simply brilliant, I have a Barbour border, its a longer coat, bellow and game pockets etc. To be honest I neglected it for the first 5 years and didn't re-wax it, waxed it last year, gave it the hair dryer treatment for a smooth finish ........................................good as new and totally waterproof.......Great coat
Born Hunter 17,910
Barbour do a cracking range of jackets. You'll get sick of trying all the different ones on! Waiting on mine as we speak...
Jamie m 668
I have one for ferreting beating , 25 quid at the game fair , it's an old style with a massive collar , and at that price I'm not worrying about barbed wire .
paulus 26
i had a border for years hung it up in the shed at the end of every winter, the main reason being i used it when chubbing as well as lamping, there was a chunk of Danish Blue that had been in the pocket for over 5 years

bird 10,014
I have one for ferreting beating , 25 quid at the game fair , it's an old style with a massive collar , and at that price I'm not worrying about barbed wire . same here mate, get cheep 1 for same price as above, get full season out of it, then get another the next season. Its not worth it getting a good'un i dont think, same as you the amount of feckin times you rip them when out lamping, a 25-30£quid does the job keeps the water out good jacket for the price
