Tea....lack Of

is it me or is the world changing........went to a job sat and the lady sat in her conservatory looking out on us most of the day drinking tea.....did nt even offer us a cuppa.i dont expect it but if any one comes to my house for work or whatever i allways offer a tea etc.

Just had it ... Put a rabbit fence in a private garden ... We were there all week and not one offer of a cup of tea ... Mind you she had a cleaner and a cook so she probably didn't know how to make a fukcing cuppa .......

we plastered an entire house and got £500 lol we got the rest in the end but they always try it on.

i allways take a flask as i dont want to bother people ,i no they got kids to get ready,work etc ,but some people dont even offer.....i done a job last winter -7 degrees the fella come out gripping a brew saying it was freezing.no mention of any teas for us .if im not home allday and i got trades round doing work i leave a kettle and milk teabags mugs out for em.....its basic common curtesy

I have decorators coming round the house tomorrow, tea bags and biscuits are stocked up for them. your right though its basic courtesy and manners that are beginning to fade. we put railings around a house once and the woman refused to let us have our tea in the van, made us a full fry up. then at lunch she made us a full roast all in her house with their family :laugh: didn't know them from adam. really nice gesture :thumbs:

Whenever i have lads round to the gaff to do a bit of work they dont dare except a cuppa rosie they know it will lead to hours upon hours of gassing and no work will get done :D .......i just tell them to help themself and i f**k off somewhere now !
