Lloyd90 509
Not sure about pups but with military dogs I've heard when retired they just give them the bolt gun Police dogs at least get rehomed when retired and the ones that aren't up to scratch for training are often re-homed. neems 2,406
swear at the police dogs they go f*****g mental lol try it say the word f*****g and see there reaction They probably swear when they train them,my mate sometimes gets his mates to decoy for his dogs, but the dogs know who they are so they wear masks. His dogs all go mental when ever anyone comes anywhere near with their face in any way covered, they don't even like it when someone comes near them with a hood up. Both guard dogs too, not sniffer dogs. one of them lives on camp with his missis and family, basically a family pet now. The other is a bird, dog lives with her mam (her home too when shes home)
Casso 1,264
Watched a program earlier about army dogs and they were saying the bred 2 litters and kept 2 from worm and 4 from another, but what happens to the rest? Must be some good breeding in them dogs Was over in Von Liche kennels , where the Nat geo program "Alpha Dogs "was made during the summer and its for that very reason they don't breed themselves , just too much waste , 2 pups make it out of a litter , what the hell do ya do with the rest?? So they buy most of their dogs in Europe , he has a kennel on the Germany border where they test them and if they make the grade ship them to the states to continue their training , even at that there are some dogs when they arrive in Indiana and are kennelled up with 100 other high driven dogs just can't produce the goods , they were good beside their owner back in Europe but with the drastic change of environment and different personal they just can't cut it, they don't have time to put the work into these dogs to bring them on with scores of dogs needing to be trained , so they sell them off covering their costs for purchase and shipping but your still going to pay thousands for them Police and military buy from big kennels like these because they won't have the problem of rehoming or weeding out the crap ones , they can watch as many dogs as they like perform and get exactly what they're looking for .

He was reunited with the dog later and was allowed to take it home. Very

Lloyd90 509
There great dogs mind, had an EX Police GSD in the family when I was a kid. Remember coming home one day and she had the postie pinned up against the big tree out front looking, 2 paws on his chest / shoulders looking him right eye to eye ... apparantly he'd been there for a little while ... he used a bit of loud swearing, once the dog was back inside

Most police dogs, arson, tracking, and the other, in my area come from this place. I've never been but I'm told it's a much larger yard than Hancock's. ATB
