Malt 379
That copper would be serving life if Tomlinson had a different coloured complexion IMO.. Just look at the mud slung at him because he had a large family and had been for a few beers..
cookiemonsterandmerlin 145
We all seen the video I think it does not take sherlock to see that officers actions killed pure and simple no if no buts Pointless have a trial with that sort of video footage same as the sick fookers hacking of the squaddie why have a trial when you can see what they done

Tiercel 6,986
This copper had privous A bully hinding behind a uniform Numorous allegations in the 12 years he was in the job. That in it's self does not mean that he is automatucally guilty, but given the video evidence together with the past alligations it does not look good. In all honesty I feel he should be brought to trial. Nothing more nothing less. TC

neems 2,406
im not a police hater either, but i do firmly believe in if they break the law they enforce everyday, then should be subjected to the same punishments. i worked the doors for many years mate, and was charged/fined a cpl times, and i accepted that, and if i had thrown some c**t down stairs and he had been killed,id have expected jail. we certainly didnt get any special favours from the cops.quite the opposite in fact. Why not worse? Police have powers we don't,I think anyone in any position of power be it police, teachers, politicians should all be punished 10x worse than anyone else, even if that means they are subject to the death penalty. I bet there'd be a lot less bullies and con artists.
THE STIFFMEISTER 16,756
Death penalty ppppffftttttt joking aren't ya? The only people who should be given death penalty are pre meditated murderers and nonces, to say that he was doing no harm is a bit rich, the coppers blood would have been up and instinct took over, lets set it right, look at the clip of the c**t, proper smart arse, malt mentioned the mud we have flung at him well my opinion is that he works in London supposedly, okay, he has a beer on the way home, fair play, 9 kids, was he supporting all those on his barristers wage? I f***ing doubt it , this knob was a clever c**t, Buckshee job, were paying for his kids and likely his accommodation but still thought he would go and play the arsehole in a situation where he could have took another street round or got off the tube earlier, the fact he choose to do this rather than play the game like an ordinary citizen marks him out as a complete whopper..... And as for the coppers previous, lol, do you really want angels with dirty faces, think of your beloved heroes in afghan, i can barely think of a squaddie with a clean record, lead your men into a contact and extract safely your a hero, get in a scrap in aldershot on the lash and your a thug in the paper, that copper was there, doing his job, something we pay and train them to do, I trust his judgement and instincts to carry out that job more than the armchair experts in the media, There is also a very comparative high profile case against this, where people's opinions would firmly lie on the other side, and rightly so
baw 4,360
I'm will stiffy and lab on this one. It was one of those freak accidents that you hope your not involved in. What pisses me off is how folk have over looked him giving the police a mouthful as if its the norm, which unfortunately its become. No respect for authority or anything has got this country in the state it is. If you gave a polis a mouthful 30 year ago, you'd get more than a f***ing push. He didn't deserve to die, the polis didn't push him to kill him, sometimes shit happens. If he'd died in the back of a polis van choking on his own vomit is be outraged but for this!!! Na just a freak accident which both parties are going to suffer for to some degree. One for doing his job, the other, for being a c**t.

gonetoearth 5,144
Baw for once i agree with all you say but we dont need the likes of him in uniform or even worse the likes of NORMAN BETTERSON leading them. For fook sake. The police in this country used to be beyond reproach now there no better than G4s
riohog 5,905
that copper was a disgrace to the uniform correct,, wonder if he had been so keen to push the guy if he had been 6ft 4 and 18 stone and black !!
sussex 5,803
I seem to remember the old bill "bending the rules" a bit at the hunting protest ,trouble is they bent them on decent peoples head with a truncheon. If your in the police & you cant keep a clear head in a heated situation you aint up to the job ..not that an old boy with his hands in his pocket was much of a heated situation .Bully in my book . Bosun11 537
What I'll never understand, what really boils my piss, is that at each and every riot this country has seen people just think they can wander around in the middle of it, either all aimless or with that I don't give a feck attitude..? Eh...!!! I just simply can't condone that, its essentially a fecking war zone and some tool wanders right through like they are wearing a sign that says 'impartial' on it.... Well you ain't... To the lines of police trying to do their job, you are a fecking distraction, you are contributing to the fact that they are struggling to make arrests.... I don't care if its your fecking neighborhood and you want to get from A to B, or whatever other motive you 'think' you may have, at that point it should be a no-go area, stay off the streets, keep fecking well safe. Anyone in their right mind, turns a corner, to see lines of riot police, shields, batons drawn, gets the feck back from their quick smart and finds an alternative rout... Unless its a fight you want to be in...! Oh yer, just in case anyone is wondering... I made that choice.... I'm speaking as someone who's had a bit of baton-rash, in Westminster a few years ago!
