First Time On The Shotgun...

Recommended Posts

Just been to take my mate to pick up a new shotgun and we stopped off at a permission on the way back to try it out.

I've only shot once before on clays 12 months ago. Never been a big shooting fan. Never got into it.

Had air rifles as a kid and still a Daystate X2 tucked away which never gets used.

I tell you what though, I really enjoyed it. I had 2 shots and got 2 kills. Really chuffed. Definitely want to go again...

Nice one Gaz ,can I see another sgc holder here ? ....:thumbs:

I tried last year mate because i wanted to make the clay shooting a regular thing and it would of been alot cheaper with my own gun but got refused due to criminal record :-(

If you have been refused you need to keep quiet about shooting a gun then...

Why? There's no law saying he can't shoot a shottie under supervision even if he as been refused a ticket himself

I asked my firearms officer if my brother in law could shoot using my gun and he said yes unless he was refused one himself.

As usual that sounds like its made up right there on the spot (by the FAO) just because it sounds right..
