The Crusades were led by the Knights Templar (the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and the Temple of Solomon), a mercenary force drawn from all over Western Europe. No mention of any Saint ! This is their symbol.... See the difference ? The Cross of St.George has no connection to the Crusades ! They are 2 different symbols, and this stupid woman trying to equate the two displays the usual level of ignorance and lies shown by the multi-cultural appeaser What I find most offensive about this kind of story is the continued presence of Muslims in my country. Anti English, socialist left-wing Labour MP for Radstock Town Council who thinks the St. George's Flag should be removed as it may upset Muslims because of the crusades, (that happened over a 1000 years ago) & be replaced with a Union Jack, to be flown only on Armistice Day. And the rainbow flag of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, & transgender pride movement - at ‘appropriate’ times of the year!
