lanesra 4,007
I have and always will put myself out where a dog is concerned if needed , though I suppose that goes for most off here !
WILF 49,762
I have and always will put myself out where a dog is concerned if needed , though I suppose that goes for most off here ! I would if it was safe to do so and have done a few times but if one ran out on a quick ish road I would level the f****r and not think twice, a dogs life is not worth an accident To be honest, I don't blame the cozza.....personally I would rather he was rounding up scummers than rescuing someone's mutt

Got to agree Dan , yrs ago I thought they where wankers when doing the above , now a little older and wiser can see the Logic in why they do it , especially when my kids started driving , in fact I was like a Traffic Cop when talking too them about Driving Safely . I agree it saves lives but I had a tyre that was under the limit by a minimal amount it was pathetic. I was driving under a mile to a prebooked appointment at the garage to get it changed, I even had the new tyre in the boot but he slapped me with 3 points and a £60 fine
baw 4,360
You'd have thought every copper should know how to handle dogs, regardless of 'training' or not! The new sue culture is to blame, that's why safety has gone mad. The police is an industry just like any other. Some police probably been bit and sued the force, same with not being able to go up a ladder. They're probably told not to do anything they haven't been trained to do to cover the forces back. If caught, might lose there jobs like you would if on a building site with no safety gear. Crazy world we live in but everyone who has put a claim in for an accident is to blame, can't see the police being any different.
