I'm reckoning we have had the last real frost down here in Devon, hope I'm not wrong. Can always fleece down or cover in straw. Its rain we need here dry as hell.

It helps that I’m retired. Also my bitch comes into season in march, so hunting season ends and growing season begins ! Plus my missus is off on her travels again, so no distractions ! LOL !

Think it's because sparrows like the Red Flowering ones and seem to leave the White flowering ones mate. I rate White lady the only problem I have had is a Bee that cuts a hole in the back of the flower to get at the nectar but seems to happen later in the season.
