Malt 379
I grew up with the really wild show, so I like him :-) Also liked the recent show he has had running, some interesting stuff on it. I liked the really wild show but even then thought he was shite compared to Terry Nutkins! I went off Packham big style after I saw him on Room 101 a few years back giving it the whole 'All humans are bad, should be wiped out and the world left to the animals' bullshit like a rabid anti. At least with Attenbourough, while he accepts that on the whole we don't treat the natural world with the respect that we should, he dont preach on about us in a negative way and still seems to have a great admiration for mankind and what it has achieved. I also saw him refuse to condone hunting deer with dogs on the one show a few years back when Chiles tried to get him to. He simply stated that deer have to be controlled in then UK because we've removed all their predators and it didn't really matter which way it was done. He said the problem was landowners thought they owned the deer! The likes of Packham would have us all back living in caves and reverting to berry picking!
Paid 935
I agree he ain't not attenbourough, but then, no one is, nuttkins interfered with his seal, and i agree with packham, that the human population could do with some serious reduction I saw the deer thing too, and david was spot on.
