Gay marriage is wrong, they have civil partnership that should be enough.

 

It's always the church that takes the beating why not the mosques why not the synagogues? For the last 1000 years the Christian values have kept this country on a stable footing but now it seems to me over the last 60 or so years these values are being eroded to a point of no return. I read on here loads of times why this country is going down the pan, it's death by a thousand cuts this just being another one of many. I worry where it will all end, in 30 years will there be a debate about whether peadophiles are indeed ill or is it the way they were born? Will we no longer be able to put criminals in prison because it's against their human rights?

 

If your gay then fair enough, in your own house, in your own time do what you want, I personally have nothing against anyone who isn't harming anyone else but allowing a gay religious Christian ceromany which is what marriage is then this is just another nail in the coffin of the values of this country.

if the whole world turned gay overnight we would be fooked as a species self destuction is not programed into any species it can only arise when its given the choice and allowed to flourish. yes im homophobic its my choice, infact its my right as protecting the continuation of a species is paramount in the future of that species, i would appose anything that was a threat to the humankind wether that be biological,chemical, man made or alien.

 

So Paulus does that mean you are against medical care for babies that would otherwise not survive if they were not given life giving treatment? I say this because if you think about it medicine has helped the human race live longer and overcome more things that would otherwise polish us off meaning that now weakened genes and genes that cause deformities in what we have become accustomed to as "the normal way a human should look" are being able to be spread through the human race by breeding. If a baby is born premature then they are given treatment and care to keep it alive whereas otherwise it would have died. Due to their premature birth complications can arise that can affect their genetic makeup and they are also more susceptible to also produce premature births or further issues. Are you against down syndrome sufferers from breeding also because the chances are that the genes will stand a higher chance of being passed down to the next generation? What about dwarfs? What about people born with deformities? Are you totally against any person with a birth defect being given either the treatment to allow them to survive or to produce offspring? Do you view them as weakening the human genetic makeup and therefore weakening our abilities both physically and mentally to advance the human race? Are we now at the pinnacle of advancement for the human race as our technology, science and knowledge takes out the natural selection of the strongest will survive and allows the weakened or changed genetic makeup to mate and produce offspring that would otherwise be stronger, more able or "normal"? If these changes in the human genetic makeup are a curse from God (let's not forget that only 50-60years ago these early births would not have survived, the other disabled people would have been put into institutions. Another 100 years ago and the chances are they would have been treated a lot worse and killed at birth not long before that without the chance to breed but now there are cared for and given the right to breed) then why are we not leaving it to nature to decide if these new born baby's or the unfortunate children that are born with defects survive or not and if they do taking away their right to breed to ensure a stronger human race?.

 

Are we not all formed female before a surge of testosterone kicks in the second chromosome to change the anatomy to male (hence why male mammals are still born with nipples, the remains of our female start in the womb), then just before we are born another surge of testosterone surges down the umbilical cord and switches on the male psyche but if this second surge doesn't happen then the psyche remains in the female state hence why not just humans but also other mammals produce homosexual offspring?

 

You stand just the same chance as any of producing homosexual offspring so what if you produced a homosexual child, would you not still want them to be happy, to live a full life and experience the joys that come with it because after all it is a genetic disposition not a life choice? Would you still provide the same nurturing, loving and beneficial environment that you would otherwise provide for a heterosexual child because you wouldn't know what sexual preference they were born of until they reached their teens and their sexual needs played more of a part in things as it did with all of us?

I have a very good mate we used to be out on the town and I know for certain he shagged loads of women then I lost contact with him he's now living with a bloke and is now gay apparently. He is the last person I would ever have thought would have been gay

 

Next one is a lad I know who through work, told everyone he was gay for years he's now happily married to a lass, I asked him once I thought you were gay? I love how folk label it as "not natural" or label themselve's as "normal" as if one day a person wakes up and decides to be be homosexual as the general day to day is boring them.

 

Homosexuals are born, created within the womb and for all you "NORMAL" folk out there don't you think it's funny how only a hetrosexual relationship can produce homosexual offspring? If you don't want to have homosexuals in "God's world" then stop f-ing women and creating homosexual offspring. Take the path God would want you to in order to stop creating these "unnatural" beings.

 

If they love each other enough to want to commit to each other for life and provide a stable and comfortable upbringing for a child that has ended up in the local authority care because the "Natural" relationship of a man and woman couldn't provide that then isn't that child better off? Just because they are raised by homosexual parents will not make them homosexual. When you were young I bet you thought girls were weird, smelled and weren't as much fun as your mates were but then thinsg started to change so for the first ten years of your life I am willing to bet you wouldn't entertain a girl that wasn't family and would choose your mates over a girl any day.

If you are worried that homosexuals are wanting to have anal intercourse with you if you are in their company, don't flatter yourself because if the women aren't throwing themselves at you then the chances are the homosexuals aren't either.

 

As fotr what goes on behind closed doors then what does it matter? We all have our fantasies and sexual pleasures and i bet some of them do not conform to your God's word or teachings. Thankfully I am not religious so I don't have a narrow minded view of the world and the diversity that occupies it so as other have said I can live and let live without the need to want to kill someone because of how they were born, isn't that against the christian God's word in itself? Thou shalt not kill? But rest assured that if you do have a homosexual couple nextdoor to you they won't be covetting their neighbour unless that;s you and then it will be your choice and would have wanted it anyway.

 

Good post and one that I agree with lots of, however lets have one thing right homosexuality is not " natural", what it is is an anomalie to be exact......true it harms no one and certainly not me but I don't think that I need to be labeled narrow minded because I don't want it being presented as part of what I consider a sacred right in my traditional church.

 

I don't believe in legalising drugs either, but that's just my opinion.

It is amazing what has been carried out and still is today in the name of a "sacred right of the Christian church". Hunting was a tradition, some would say the right of every man but that soon changed. Did you not have a Christmas tree becuase it was never a tradition over here until the "Fashion" of having one came over from Germany only recently? How do you envisage The Son of God to look like? A slightly tanned, bearded fella with blue eyes and a slightly Anglican edge or do you picture him as a typical middle eastern man born of a woman who was not impregnated by her marital spouse and therefore could have been deemd to have been raped and isn;t the punishment for rape or extra marital activities in the middle east being stoned to death? It is a tradition after all.

 

Millions have been killed in the name of Christianity be it none belivers who were lynched or just conquered or the crusade battles that took place because the Christian community thought they didn't have a decent foothold or high enough numbers in Bethlehem compared with the muslims, Jews and just plain heretics and the people that lead these butchery paths were ordained as Saints in the name of God and Christ because "Thy should love thy neighbour" even if they occupy the religious epicentre, have the son of your God as an idol within their religion or was even called "The King of The Other Religion" during his life and "though should not kil" unless it is carried out int he name of your God or as a cause for God. Why are you even typing on here, are you sure you have the time because at the last census there was an overwhelming majoity that said they had no religion so shouldn't you be out there trying to convert and if they don't agree to join you in your beliefs be hacing them to bits, burning them at the stake or thrwoling them in dungeons until they repent and accedpt God as their creator? That was a tradition of the Christians as well but I don't see much of it these days. I do get Chrfistians and the like knocking on my door trying to convert me and pestering me by forcing their beliefs on me as I stand in my own home whilst they have no right being on my property or trying to force their teachings upon me and my family, yet I have never once had anyone knock on my door and say "Do you believe in sex? Do you want to be homosexual". Religions have forced and slaughtered their way through countries, civilisations, withheld treatment from those that refused to believe or just killed them. What a great way to convert the masses, certainly not soemthign I want to be associated with or take solace and peace in, how can you from such violence?
