Without a certain amount of weight to power ratio its often a case of fight or kill,its sad to see a dog trying to fight something for long enough to kill it,which they seldom can,than a jukel that has the physical conformation to get a job done quickly with less suffering to both parties.

Whippets are rabbit and racing dogs ! Yes, they may take the odd fox or hare; I've even had a one that took the odd roe.... but that isn't their job ! Why overmatch them ? They have the heart to try, but if you want to take fox, then get a dog that can do it quickly and cleanly !!

met a lad today who had two whippets he said he dont hunt them anymore cause he used to only do foxes pre ban and they use to do them single handed. dont think he was telling me the truth do you no of any whippets what could do foxes pre ban on there own regular i no quite a few that wouldnt

you would of seen the marks on them. to tell if they have worked a lot of fox in there career single handed,,.it should of made your mind up there and then mate .
