boyo 1,398
i had a beardie x border back to a greyhound of hancock many many years ago in fact feel old thinking that far back lol. very intelligent bitch great jumper with a good mouth sounds great but not really well before 2 year old she was picking her runs and it got where she just wouldnt run if it wasnt in the middle of feild ,so ended up giving her to a mate who was over the moon with her ..gemma the bitch was ugly and slow but could catch game very well when she wanted ,she was also a tremendous swimmer . kps1979 1,308
thanks for replies, the lurcher ive got was slow to mature, shes only young still, but the penny seems to have dropped now! shes a deerhound, collie greyhound, ive got my name down on the beardie from yes you've no doubt guessed.. hancock! i know people have very mixed reviews about said man but i want a straight beardie greyhound, with nothing else in the mix, and he has them there! where i live and walk daily is mainly woodland, plenty of cover, with few fields here and there so want a dog to find stuff in cover and ive been told beardies are good at this lets hope so..
