Lol. I ain't telling you nothing. You sneaky fecker!!

My door always locked wether im in or out,not because of anything getting stolen, its to keep the bailiffs and debt collectors out.

When I was a kid we never had locked doors, day or night, in or out. Mind you, we did get robbed a lot.

lol@paulus oh come on.our generation and previous one were out there tits aswell. its just this generation seems to be be the whipping boy for todays society.people were getting chemical highs decades ago.

i would have no idear about that :whistling:

people have no respect or disciplin (or however you spell it) nowadays

how many parents acctually disciplin there children nowadays ... i remember when i was growing up if i went to my ma and said such and such abody shouted at me , she'd hit me a clip and tell me i should of been behaving then ...

nowadays if you have a go at a youngster your liable to have all your windows put through and an angry parent looking at smashing your face in ,

Locked....cos I live in Wrexham and it's full of scrotes, mainly because you can't see or hear someone coming through front door from living room or kitchen. Also, when you have a 2 year old and you watch a lot of murder documentaries you tend to get a bit paranoid about these things!

Plus, it gives you a few extra shut down and zip up seconds when someone comes home unexpectedly!!

Living in the paradise that is Hartlepool, everythings locked and alarmed. Doors locked all the time, windows if ever open get left on the catch so effectively locked, motion detecting lights that send a beep to a receiver in the bedroom, CCTV covering all angles, thick brambles out the back fence, little spikes on the top of the fence....and two springers who bark when someones kicking about...like the lads lamping at 12:30 the other night

CHID - Just scrolling down there after reading your post about discipline and lack of nowadays, and what caught my eye, but the Norn Iron flag and I had a flashback to being told as a youngster by my mother 'if you don't stop that whinging right now, I will stamp the Red Hand of Ulster across your arse'! She did not make empty threats often followed through!

anyone who nicked my van would need to have a strong stomach
