Here is a few pic's from today...i have opened the two flight's up next to each other so they have more room to fly about.. .     Two mule Goldies and a irish fancy hen on the teazel     Lu

Here's a pic or two showing a exstention i added to my aviary and the roof bit i left open and this i'm splitting in two and then i'll be changing the layout of the rest of it by spring next year and

This is where i am upto for now..doing it on my own does not help and these dark night's are a ball ache when you want to crack on..not too worry though i will get there in the end..

I have the stable door set up done.. ..i don't have any picture's yet as it was getting late and with me obviously spooking some of the bird's while i was doing it i thought it best to leave them alone so they could have there last feed before roosting.. ..

Pic's will be added for anyone intersted in a few day's when i get back home.. :victory: .

Great thread! :notworthy:

My grandad and uncle both kept birds when I was growing up and until recently I thought it was dying out. All the old boys local passed away over the years and it seemed to me like aviary's in general just vanished from the gardens. It's been great reading this and realising that the art of bird keeping is still going strong here and there. :good:
