Guest vin Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 Law is all wrong these days..things need updating in relation to modern society. we all need to be armed and allowed to protect ourself and our property. Its a bad world these days and If a criminal can buy a gun off the black market etc etc..We as good tax paying citizens should be able to do the same,but legally and be able to use it. Burglars arnt scared of joe public anymore..they prey on the common family man..its like a job for them..and when theyre caught they laugh at the law...why ..? becasue its a joke. . .they get a nice holliday and the victims get there life and happiness ruined... its all wrong. 4 times My house has been hit.... and I live in a nice area of my town. . . Im not rich.. not got a lot worth nicking...But they will ruin your life for a tenner bag of smack these days. . . My friends,parents,nieghbours all tell the same story...there was 5 burglaries on my street in 1 week. . .. It sounds like I live on the Chatsworth estate (shameless channel 4) but its not at all like that.. Its a nice quiet street with lovely neighbours and next to a park etc etc.. Its just that the scummers pass through and see easy pickings becasue a lot of people still go out to work for a living and leave there houses empty during the daytime. They should at least be able to put a killer dog in their back yards and allow it to protect the property by ripping the head of any intruders..but we all know the implications of that one dont we.. another plus for the thiefs. its all wrong. But be up in arms if the farmer or keeper was allowed to shoot dogs poaching his property and his quarry yet poaching is a noble crime and should go unpunished . A human beings brains all over the floor and walls is not a pretty site, and I for one would not take a life over the theft of a dog. I don't think people realise the personal consequences of seeing such a thing never mind being the perpetrator. I hope the lads who post these threads and talking of blasting burglars with shotguns and rifles don't actually own guns. I'm in the process of getting my shotgun certificate and if I'm ever woken in the night by an intruder with my Missus and daughter asleep in my house then I won't think twice about shooting him in the face. If someone is prepared to enter another mans home to steal his hard earned property then he should know he is gambling with his life. A police sergeant told me a few years ago, if someone breaks into your house and you want to do them then do it properly. A dead man can't talk. I like the nail gun though that made me smile! Iv said it before but of you catch someone in your house how do you know they ain't there for something other than pinching your DVD player etc they could be after you, your misses or even worse your kids. I say if you find someone in your house smash em up as if they were trying to hurt your kids as for all you know they might well have been planning on doing just that.
