When a fox turned out to be a stoat

I got a phone from a farmer who said he had a few chickens killed the previous night, and had seen a fox close by I told him I would be up later on.

 

Went into the coup to have a look and I nearly £&@£ myself!!! It was a stoat!!!

 

Closed the door and ran back to get my shotgun, opened the door once loaded up hid behind the door and allowed it to be in a safe area to be shot.

 

One happy farmer

are you sure its a stoat there usually snow white under neath and have a black tip on the tail thats looks all the same colour

Stoats I trapped few weeks ago, got named mixed up fail on my part.
