whippet 99 2,613
TO ME IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION AND IVE SEEN KIDS PICK UP TERRIERS AND THEN DROP THEM AND WHEN THEY GO TO PICK THE DOG UP AGAIN IT NIPS THEM , AND I TELL THEM THATS THERE OWN FAULT FOR TORMENTING THE DOG. THERE NIPPING JUST TO WARN THEM . NOTHING TO SERIOUS .BUT AN UNPROVOKED AND MALICIOUS ATTACK ON A HUMAN IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN MY BOOK, WITH OUT REALLY KNOWING THE SITUATION AND HOW MALICIOUS IT WAS IT IS HARD TO COME TO ANY CONCLUSION, WAS IT A NIP OR A PROPER ATTACK ! DID YOU WITNESS IT! WHAT DAMAGE WAS CAUSED! ONLY THE OWNER KNOWS THERE DOG AND IF IT WAS MALICIOUS AND OUT OF CHARACTER IT LEAVES YOU WITH LITTLE CHOICE..............................................IN MY OPIONION.................... YOU CANT GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE BEACAUSE NEXT TIME MAY BE TOO LATE........................NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS .....

gnipper 6,894
what were the circumstances of how the kid was bitten, i had a lurcher bite one of mine years ago, turned out the twat jumped on her when she was asleep the bitch just snapped in instinct afterall the only way a dog can express itself its with its mouth, if however it was unprevoked then burry it My daughters been warned that if her dog nips her for tormenting her if she's asleep or eating then she will get a smacked arse aswell as a bite, if it was unprovoked then I'd let her help dig the hole.
