Country Joe 1,411
I have worked beddy X Greyhound bitch bred from G.Newcombes Blue, Also Whippet X Bedlington, And Whippet X whippet X Bedlington, All handy crosses, especially when Rabbits are your main quarry, Beddy X Whippets appear quite difficult to find, maybe with working Whippet pups making £350 to £400,although on the Working whippet forum a whippet at stud has lined a Beddy Bitch.pups should be due soon. sikastag_1 689
I fancy this cross for my 7 yo son or a beddyxwhippxgrey I have a 3rd gen half x bitch mate, very loyal dog and VERY good with my kids to the extent Shel follow them round the garden if they play in a pool shel lie there, if they go on the trampoline she's lying on the side follows them on his quad etc very gentle dog but i wouldnt like to see her if a strange face came in the garden and tries to take 1 of the kids off the trampoline ,absolute brilliant dog to be around kids very trainable and biddable, so of your thinking of getting 1 for your young 1 I'd recommend it. 2 Quote Link to post

chartpolski 28,504
One of the best,- first cross. Beddy Greyhound is that yorse gin That's Pat Blewitts "Flynn"; first cross Bedlington/Greyhound from Heartbreak Fell Kennels. He'll be around ten now; took all game in his day. Gin used him over his bitch "Maegan", (Deer/Grey x Whippet/Grey), and produced Gins "Gunner" and my bitch "Delta", amongst others. Cheers. Quote Link to post
