CUB SNARING POST

Recommended Posts

the bigest mistake he made was ;; telling everone about it.. things happen . no need to tell the whole f.. world about it!!.

I disagree.

Which laws have been broken here? When you look at the crap that is regularly posted on the dog sections, this is nothing.

Many people have been on here and learnt a great deal. Instead of using this as an opportunity to educate less experienced members about the risk of catching non-target species, everyone is laying into Micky and suggesting that he is a liar.

Sweeping stuff under the carpet is never a good idea.

i didnt say you broke any laws wind your neck in if you dont like critizism dont post ;)

I didn't suggest that you did Rio.

The point I was making was that if no laws had been broken why was the post removed?

Oh, and by the way; I love critisism. It's text talk I can't stand :whistling:

;)

Who the feck wants to see pictures of cub's snared anyway ye sad b*****d's ffs do it protect what ye want but ffs dont post picture's with pride about it

BUT he was after rabbits... so if anti's see it it could be used as evidence to try and ban all forms of snaring, inc. rabbits, as they are also catching non target species. no one is saying that post

Malt, I understand and agree that we need to be careful.

Moderating isn't easy, and I respect your decision.

I didn't actually see the offending post, but can you clarify if there was anything illegal posted? What offence (In England)is commited when someone catches a fox cub in a rabbit snare unintentionally?

:icon_redface: Touched, I be fellas :icon_redface:

But seriously........ do we really need all this?

Someone posts a picture of a snared fox, soapboxes are climbed, and toys thrown around...........

'Tis only the t'internet boys and girls. Life continues.

It's sad for the little 'cubbywubbies' that died in vain, but I'm sure that Micky will carry on killing coneys, with or without the thread being removed.

Me? I'm off to kill something. It always makes me feel better.

Anyone who sets rabbit snares will on occasion catch non target species, ive caught feral cats on 2 occasions, it wouldnt ever enter my head to take pictures of it, the cats were very much alive and pissed off when I found them, I probably did the wrong thing by releasing them but its a bit late for worrying about that now. I dont agree with posting the picture of the cub in the snare on principal as its ammo for the antis and could easily be the picture they use to advertise their campaigns against trapping and snaring

Even if the pic wasnt that bad (i didnt see the thread in question.)

I wouldn't want to see a picture of that either but i would like to see a video of you take a feral cat out a snare.......... :D

Its not hard, throw your coat over the cat, pin the cat down under coat and remove snare.
