Well ive had half hour spare today , so i thought ide try a few different pellets and see what suits the MFR .

 

I had my zero out at 35/36 yds , would be the same at 15 and a touch above between the two .

 

Got my zero , and found the best grouping were good old JSB`s . Ide put about 3 mags of each pellet ( Crossman , Loguns , AirArms , JSB`s , FTT`s ) and settled on the JSB`s . I re-filled my bottle and started to pop a few leaves , and such , to get used to it , as it really is its first outing since Phil worked his magic on it .

 

I heard a few leaves rustling and thought i was just in luck for a squizzer . As i looked , i could see nothing , but i COULD hear it . I thought it best if i get down low and wait . Well after ten minutes the noise ( that was a black bird looking for lunch ! ) stopped but ide spotted a big buck just on the other side of the railings about 60yds away .

 

I knew he`d come through sooner or later , so i sat it out . He`d come down the fence line to 45yds and hopped through . He sat up , cleaned his paws , and with a couple of small hops was side on for a clean head shot .

 

I let the pellet go and he fell onto his side , with that kind of shiver of death that they do .

The MFR had done the bizz , and the lfr said 48yds .

 

Clean and clinical , just the way i like it , straight onto the off switch .

 

Nice hour out and a rabbit as a bonus . Buster .
