Saluqihounds 150
looking fine ;mark Thanks Ray, I actually prefer them a little more covered than they are in these pics, it's all too easy to run the backs off them on a few heavy nights lamping. Quote Link to post

Saluqihounds 150
looking fine ;mark Thanks Ray, I actually prefer them a little more covered than they are in these pics, it's all too easy to run the backs off them on a few heavy nights lamping. all to true mark. my red lad looks like a bag of bones , . just the stamp of dog i think . eats like a horse though . bitch is different all together not so hyper' .thinks the job out abit more ..;; My first Saluki was always pretty skinny, couldn't get the sort of condition on him that I get on the dogs have now, I was feeding complete feed back then, perhaps if I was feeding the raw fatty meat and bones which I feed now I might of been able to get him to carry more condition or like you say it is likely just their individual stamp he was big boned. In saying that he never seem lacking in anyway so I stopped worrying about after a fashion. Dried dates improved his condition considerably, he really did well on them. Moussa is the only one of mine tends towards being naturally quite lean as you can see in the pic the rest are very good doers especially Nura my wee Kazakh bitch. Bosun11 537
That is unbelievable! Alot of times gone into that boy, 1/4 bull in him? my old man reckons it's pure greyhound? shame the only field its likely to see has a rope ring in it lol Sadly, no more Junior... He lost an eye from some serious poor handling from one judge (long fingernails!) and then damaged his spine when a ring rope twanged back down hard on it. So sadly he now only compeats in ugliest dog, and dog with the least waggiest tail in shows run by the local W.I., plenty of success there! Though I am thinking about renting him out for Halloween this year..! 1 Quote Link to post
