have seen this vid before and i have to say ,its a fecking good way of getting the dog fit if anything, them dogs just get into top gear and keep on going

should be called pxxxx coursing antelope in 4x4s dogs stamina impressive but how many motors where there an how many dogs they were boxing it in aswell not impressed with the sportsman ship but dogs h

its just like watching half the idiots on here with there 4x4 jeeps and bull greyhounds

We used to fly crate loads of gazelle, (I think they were Thompsons Gazelle), into the Middle East, from africa, for the princes and sheiks to "course" with their Salukis. We also used to fly the dogs and birds abroad, usualy Pakistan, for them to hunt wild gazelle and bustard. Wild gazelle are rare, and protected in most middle east countries, it's supposed to be only Beduin who are allowed to hunt, but the rich guys do whatever they want !

Cheers.

ether you agree with the gazell being released or not , they are given more than fair law , , and how many of us in the u/k have dogs tht can run a couple of miles in 50 deg heat and make a catch ,? not to many me thinks ..... ;)

Looking at that first clip, reminded me of how the greyhound went with man's intervention to make it an artificial hunt ,those dogs in the first clip are just tested for stamina, but not real hunting ability,

the same as the greyhound today tested for just its huge burst of pace but now sidelined as a hunting dog,

Would be interesting to see in generations what abilities apart from staying power are left in the breeding of those dogs, dogs that are just bred for one purpose end up as one trick ponies,

is the ability to stay enough in a running dog of today, with no real test of that trait available legally on these shores,

mines got as much stamina but in that heat its a diffrent ball game an a would say there not many places in britain they could run as long in but think theres an air feild in fens some were an its seriously huge land not quite sure were but it goes for miles lol lol

I personally dont like the idea od bagged quarry, to me the animal doesn't know the lay of the land and I would THINK is makes the animal more streesed and therfore more likely to make mistakes and an easier catch for the dogs. In response to your second question I have not owned a dog capable of running a couple of miles at that speed regardless of the heat
