How would the Dogo's bone structure,muscle mass,etc marry to the Greyhound?

 

I think in a 1x litter you'd get a lot of heavy cumbersome dogs that would lose a little on catch ability........maybe if you bred to ultimatley get a 3/4 you could get a decent enough dog though.

genes have a funny way of working u will allways get some that throw 2 the grey and some 2 the dogo.they should ave more leg then a first cross bull/grey.

 

im not saying these dogs should be bread im just replying 2 the statement that they couldnt 2 the job of a bullgrey

 

bull greys jobs. catch kill fox pull game pull down deer any 1 that thinks a dogo grey couldnt do this is mad these dogs can hold f*****g fully grown boar they would destroy any quarry u put in front of them over here the bull cross oweners will say whats the point cause they have there blinkers on.what was the point in adding bull when the good old fashioned tradional lurcher could do that job.

Here you go again 18 years old and blabbing about things that happened before you were born.Lurchers of differing breeds have done the job well over the years........Seen a lot of dogs over the years without a bit of bull in them do the job.

 

Before you were even a glint in your old mans eye people were managing without bull x's and they still do.

u realy are a tool u have 1 bull lurcher that cant catch anything another thats a jacker.and u dubble your dogs up on the lamp of the back of a truck on hares.the only dogs that need 2 be put down is yours.its the people like u give the bull a bad name as u havent got a clue.

never seen a dogo in the flesh but looking at videos and pics would say too big for here uk,same could be said of good quality amb they face massive boars in america but why use them here to produce lurchers,ive worked with pits staffs and amb but would not use the later even though asked by more than one to produce it.

mate dont be fooled into the thinking bull cross are one dimentional there not,they do add good quality to lurcher strains and as a breed but your getting well away from the subject,dogo.

Quite simply ...the bull was/is used purely for its do or die attitude...not for its holding power as is the Dogo,s job..Proper bulls have been bred for hundreds of years solely for the die trying attitude that imo would not be in the dogo...There are way more show type Dogo,s than there are pure workers..and thats a fact not a half assed guess..to put it bluntly..the dogo x would produce way more quitters/jackers than a well bred half x bull would produce...why do you think not many pure bulls (apbt) are worked on hogs or big cats...because the little critters try to kill everything they come across..not just hold it...atb stabba
