foxdropper 17,092 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 The otter is making a propper comeback around us in the westcountry,ousting the mink along the way .Its been said they released the european otter which i believe is a bit bigger than our native version but i have yet to clap eyes on one yet alone see what terrier does.Been blamed for some very big barbel kills on the avon and huge carp near horseshoe lake .One day maybe ,one day .Old boy that showed me the ropes [now deceased]used to tell of otters on the local river that he worked that would shake a terrier with no respect then bind to it, wrap around it .
