bleachtastesnice 4
As the title says, whats your views, anyone still use a bag? Are they outdated and frowned upon or still in use and underated? Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
Aye Box for sure. Bags are an outdated and dodgy way to be carrying around a live animal in. Especially an animal that your meant to be caring for and expecting to work for you. Think on it this way,, what would you prefer to be toted aboot in ?? Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
same here ferret box gets my vote... a bag offers no protection for a ferret for one thing Quote Link to post
JOHNBOY 18
got to be a box, anybody that uses a bag should go head first in to a sleeping and see how they like it ! Edited July 10, 2010 by JOHNBOY Quote Link to post

The one 8,585
Theres no protection in a bag for them it cant take the knocks a box would and you can sit on a box and keep your ar*e off the wet grass while you have a cuppa Quote Link to post
scothunter 12,609
remember when i first started ferreting.used to carry them in an old bank bank .they done the job greatat the time. Edited July 10, 2010 by scothunter Quote Link to post
CarraghsGem 92
i dunno, a bag would be more like a nest in a way......never had one for a ferret but when i was about 12 i had a pet norweigan hooded rat, he would spend alot of time sat on my shoulder but when he was bored or tired he would go back into the bag to sleep or to hide food, i often end up with a sore shoulder carrying my ferret box as it is quite heavy...... i wouldnt rule the bag out entirely. marshall298 0
A box has a lot more protection than a bag. I have never owed or used a bag Quote Link to post

poacher3161 1,766
Its got to be a box but i remember as a lad it would always be bags from bank bags to ones my mother would make similar to the slipper bags at school the bags never caused no distress to the ferrets some lads even carried them in big wooley socks.
