What do you take in the field.

Recommended Posts

Hi All.

I used to walk about with a backpack, which was good, but at the same time, could be a pain.

Recently trimmed my kit down, and put the basic's in a Bum/shoulder bag.

Easy to use, and transport.

Here it is, and also what I carry, this may be of use to a newbie?

Things like permission slip's and insurance are carried on my person.

when out in the field, i like to hunt as light as possible and only carry a backpack when Im carrying decoys. other than that my normal requierments when out in the field are:

rifle(obviously)

pellet pouch with pellets

folding pocket knife(opinel knife)

sportsmans cloth

mobile phone

and a range finder

all of these items fit nicely into my pockets of my jacket and trouser pocket instead of the needs of carrying a backpack.
