Did a bit of phoneing around yesterday for some people who asked me how much a jill jab

would cost i phoned 1 vets in brighton and was told £38 per ferret

well i nearly fainted

Is this price just for my area or is it standard--ish over the whole uk would be interested

to know what the jab costs in your area

I know exactly what you mean, prices up here vary from a couple of quid to the price you quoted , and its the only drug licenced to use on ferrets as well

i got quoted £35 from a vets in clayton le moors . didnt bother with it , i bred her and im going to to keep an hob and get him a vasectomy it will work out cheaper in the long run

just been quoted £23 for 2 done takeing them this afternoon im in gateshead.

(had the both of them done she charged £17 for the 2 of them)

So, and I'm no mathematician and probably have this wrong somewhere, that means that one 0.5mg shot costs 25p! Am I right there? Surely not?

I think the one for sale is 20ml of product but the strength is 100mg per ml whereas the ferret one strength should be .5mg per ml

Where abouts you to mate? anywhere in south wales? Just thinking for when i have to do my jills next year

I buy the stuff and do it myself, The vet charges me £4.50 for the bottle of Delvosterone and gives me a syringe along with it, .5ml and thats it done, A bottle would do more ferrets than you can keep

£3.75 was all i paid . Got talking to the vet about the price other vets were charging and she just laughed she said greedy b*****ds its a standard amount half a mg or summit like that forgot the exact amount.
