I would expect quite a few lads have lamped rats with terriers round the farms. I have its great fun, but lamping rabbits with a terrier is probably the biggest waste of time and a good way to loose a terrier

I stripped the terrier a week ago and noticed that around her left shoulder there was very little if any undercoat. I thought i may had been haevy handed but didnt think i had been. Anyway out this evening and noticed what i thought was blood so i got home and gave it was wash with warm salt water andd it was just a red patch which i hadnt notcied until today so is a fresh mark. Its not hot to touch and the bitch isnt in any pain or discomfort, no limping and still running about like a nutter and nobody has notcied her scrathching or chewing during the day. iv already pulled about a dozen or so, i find them quite hard to find because my terrier has such a thick coat, due a strip soon, but i find it easier to run my hands down her to feel for them.
