  1. Got some of the small stickers from BAR think they were £5.50 for 108, 2 inch diameter great targets happily see the POI from my .177 PS at 45yds on 4x mag, great bit of kit highly recommended.
  2. You found it on dead silver birch most likely mate, it's very common stuff around me. Just cut into strips and dry as much as poss I reckon. I think you can use it as bandage type stuff when fresh but again don't quote me on that!
  3. Birch polypore mate, off the top of head edible but pretty rank, but don't take my word for it. I think dried you can use it as tinder...
  4. Stop it I really really want one now shame about the trigger but I'm sure someone like rowan engineering could put something together to smarten things up
  5. Fished Fleetwood and Cleveleys Friday night with a mate managed a small flattie first cast after defeating the hale wind and rain next cast the rod almost got dragged in with weed, so moved down to Cleveleys to take the wind head on, first cast 24cm rockling then the wind picked up couldn't hold bottom so we left, was hoping for at least a few whiting but we didn't blank, unit to win I and all
  6. Cracker. The best out of the box break barrel on the market? I think so! I'd love one.
  7. Yes mate the clubs are good, there's a few specialist air rifle clubs about and there's normally plenty of good craic and loads of advice.
  8. I was at Blackpool air rifles Friday and spotted a bull pup tx200. Mmmmmmm yes please!
  9. Popped down to Halifax airgun club today and had some fun with the prosport, got her zeroed at 30yds. She didn't miss a beat and hit every spinner/knockdown etc that I put in front of her so well chuffed with that, out to 42m. Had no idea what kind of groups I had at that range but I put a card out and did a few 3 shot groups to 40m (43yds) had the odd group go 20mm but most were under 15mm and a couple under 10mm pretty happy with that (I'm sure I can do better mind you!) Cheers
  10. Do you feel better now yes, sorry mate but craberoonie and crabadoodle were just too much,we all have our breaking point,i guess i just snapped. No apologies needed! Don't try watching rex hunt then...
  11. Seen a few about tagged with SR and always wondered what it stood for.
  12. A few bits and bobs but the real present will be cracking the sloe gin that's been sat away maturing ?
  13. I thought you were the one saying it wasn't accurate? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?
  14. Fair dos David, had two myself and not had any issues, what was up with yours?
  15. I think the range finder would be a great help if you are wanting to get better at the real long range stuff. I've had one and although it helped (I was using it with an S200 in .22) it also slowed me down and made shooting much less fun The combro one is great just secure it with some big elastic bands, it will tell you fps and ft/lbs, about £55.
  16. Nice groups! That's what I would call a ragged one hole group? I'd stay on those pellets if it were me Buy a chrono too they are a good bit of kit. Same cost as 5 tins of pellets
  17. Is that called shooting sh*t or sh*t shooting?
  18. That's just a black glove that, try again please mark
  19. Would be awesome if it was legal, I think they should bring it back but just create a very strict proficiency test, I can't see how there would be any humane or moral issues then.
  20. Aye it was good that, cooking a few hard won wild brownies by the side of a small burn? Bliss.
