My first hare was I huge buck hare and it was about six foot away and the bird caught it.and had two left feet and fell over a rock and the time I got up a ran over again I was just about to jump and get the hold of the hare and the bird lost its footing and got away.I can say the French words were flying out of me.i still this day I still can't get over it as it was that close

I know what your saying, I gave her a few good rest up in between, the others were keen to keep me flying but with mine being the only female flying them I had to think of my bird and let her rest up, I couldn't of been more proud of her today,just uploading a quick clip as we type, need more time to sort out my clips lol See I would be the opposite from you as I push it hard and I've got a mate that flys a female gos is nearly in stock with how hard I push her.

I must of slipped at 20 hare before I got this one as it was stuck in cover and the springer flushed it out.and of a rocket I went.but the time I got to it she killed it stone dead.

Them hares are not easy animals to get as you need them really close to them to give the bird a good chance of catching it.as I would push my gos hard on them as 3 good hard flight tire them out quick.as Ive pushed my girl really hard on them and lay flat down on the grass after a hard flight.

Good going mate today was mad weather over here really high winds and raining that hard it was running down field like a river.as I was hoping the forecast would of been wrong to get out but instead it was rope pulling again.

Well tonight the big girl was 2lb 10 1/2 oz and me and the mate went to a piece of hill ground and there was a cross wind that felt like -10 degree and couldn't fill my fingers of feet .and took the gun with us to for any sitters.

tell me about the weather as ive just checked it and looks like where for getting rain for a whole week again ,as that is three week already ive not got any day time hunting with the bird and I can see at nite time shes about % fit and like to see what she'll do on a pheasant now.

well after been out all day helping the mate on a wee job.and came back late I couldn't make my mind up to go out with the lamp .so I stuck the big girl on the scales and was 2lb 9 3/4oz and made my mind to go out for half an hour .so the first slip was at a 500yard woodcock that she just missed in the air and then landed on a tele pole and just did a long recall to the glove,and the next one was at a 500yard rabbit that made it to the cover,so my back and legs where starting the kill me and called it a night.

well tonite the big girl was 2lb 9 3/4oz and got a few good flights ,and I was hunting with wrong item tonite as seen four foxes and had been scaring the rabbits as there was not many out.and the last flight was at a piece of dirt about 500yrds so I wanted to finish her up with a recall at distance to see what shes like with the lamp and was fine with it,

thanks for the heads up, Ive been looking at how you can tell if they are fakes or not, so just waiting on the postman now lol Ive seen one that runs at 260mbs put would sting yeah £115 and it would say there to at that price

Yeah that's called jumping your bird I do that to as just normal recall doesn't do it for me as I would have to do a recall with a rope on to make her pump harder up the field.

Haha I just drop everything beside me if she caught a long distance rabbit.as I did it before with the bow ferret box and slip on my side nearly wreaking my ribs and shouting like a mad man and if anyone came across me they would of thought I was only let out for the day

it does show at the beginning when the bird isn't as fit as when she's going good in the season, (I bit like me too lol) Haha keep you running after them hares and ull be up to her standard of fitness.

The weather is mad today it was heavy shower over here with high winds.and I was thinking of going lamping but just changed my mind and did rope pulling and maybe if the weather is good lll get out a run with the lamp tomorrow night.as I feel like I'm nocturnal as I can only hunt the bird at night time.

well got out a run last night with the big girl she was 2lb 9 3/4oz .as the weather has been bad again and haven't got out much with her and 0-1 to the rabbits again.

Never mind the male at the pheasant.get your female at them as well.over here the hares are thinned out with the lurcher boys.and it ruined at times with guns or dogs or get a bad breeding season.

That's a san disk card I was told to stay away from them as they only read 40mb speed as the one I use reads at 50mb .i tried that gopro studio editing and can't use it and noticed that I can't get the option to drag my clip to a icon on the bottom to make a movie from.so I just use windows movie maker that is quicker for me.

Cheers mate.its only took me to get her entered in her second season and lets hope there be more.as I got my first hare in the second season and first pheasant and now a grey back. Well done Sean. They just get better and better every year if you put the work in, like you have. The good thing about a female on crows is they pulverise them. My female has taken a few and she doesn't get anywhere near the hassle as the male does. Sometimes a crowd will come in and mob the hell out of your bird. around here the sky goes black if you catch a crow, they just come from everywhere
