  1. to be honest I don't use the Bluetooth as it drains the battery quicker, just head mount, click the power on, listen for the beeps, then press the shutter to record, hope for the best its caught the action, I tend to point it down a bit more than I think it needs, it normally works lol See I see the go pro here + has an lcd screen on it to set the camera up [BANNED TEXT] to get the shot [BANNED TEXT] .

  12. You can learn older birds to accept the hood.as my mentor had a friend male steppe eagle and the person only used it for display and he was 14 years old never used a hood on it and with a wee bit of working with him the bird accept the hood.as ive said in a few post back everyone is different about hooding their.as it's up to yourself if you want to hood your bird.
  13. Thank you for your kind words mate
  14. Well tonight me and the mate went out a run with the lamp to see what is about and go a good few slips as the ground was wet and the bird got damp really quick and one rabbit made a mistake and she nailed it .and then the open pour down and got soaked to the skin and we called it a nite as we where soaked and the bird to.
  15. After a few days of bad weather with heavy rain and too windy for flying.I finally got out for a hour today and bagged another rabbit.
  16. That why I've made mine to the hood as she doesn't get on with other hawks and when I'm out with mates and there bird I put the hood on.

  18. Because they were all self proclaimed legends and loved dick measuring contests on there Yep and the same seems to be happening on Facebook.I'm always amazed at the amount of falconers on there who never have a poor day and go home empty handed. It must just be me that has poor days. I used to go on the IFF quite regularly, but after a while I got sick of all the nonsense, so stopped going on it. I still go on for a wee look every now and then. Every one has a poor day as there days I can go out a miss alot of things or the bird gets kicked off.that the point of flying a b o
  19. But that's just another bird to shift when he finally see's the light & gets a Goshawk! Haha.. but if hes not ready to get a gos yet should go with your belly says,as I was like that when I sold my top harris I was going for a red tail.then a mate foned me about a goshawk that came up and flown it for a season and had two people to watch over me with the gos,and then ordered an untouched bird.
  20. if i was you go with your belly says .if your heart is in a red tail get one.
  21. well today i got a quick hour out before it got dark and the young sprocker marked a set a popped in the ferret and out bolts one,and mite get the lamp ready and go out for an hour.
  22. If the weather is bad for me threw the day time I always turn to lamping with the gos as I could lamp nearly 5 days a week with the gos and then go out with her at the weekend as your still flying the bird to keep it fit for the pheasant season.as any fit b o p will make the rabbit look easy.the only difference you'll get with a gos you'll is fast flights of the fist at game bird and with a red you'll catch quarry better on the soar.
  23. Everyone thinks different about hood.some like them on and bird and some don't.
