Look great How much Do you use a dog Nelson of just long nets Gaz
  13. Yes start with 2 ferrets see how you get on then build your team as you need them, get young ferrets handle every day if only for 5 mins, locator and 2 collars, bag of purse nets I'd say 40/50 to start with see how you get on you can all ways get more. A nice box to carry the ferrets in when out and a good digging spade. Longnets and dogs can come at a later date when your sure you like what your doing Also extra pair of hands in a team is very useful very hard work on your own But be warned it can be addictive Gaz
  14. We did have stop nets as well running down the banks Never be to sure, where bunny may go Cheers chaps Gaz
  15. Well where do I start ha Well meeting point was at 7:30am at the ground we all arrived, quick coffee and a plan of attack and we was set. Apart from jocky turning up on his first day ferreting with me without his ferrets, how do you do that lol????? Any way on with the action we had purse nets going, long nets and stop nets all on the job The most amazing thing all day was my black lab she's 5 years just, never been ferreting in her life, only use her for picking game. But after yesterday she caught that rabbit as we was clearing the bank I thought what the hell why not, and I'm so glad I
  16. Sad news buddy, hope the ferret recovers nothing worse than a member of a team getting hurt when there should be no need for it Gaz
  17. Bit more today all sorted for a start tomorrow now Took me lab with me today sat her at the edge of the cover she didn't move until a rabbit made a brake for it lol Even a buzzard sat in wait Rock on tomorrow Gaz
  18. You will find them on internet got mine from a show I was at, wasn't sure but once I put them on they was the best thing I had ever had on my feet Gaz
  19. nice reply The One, when I come across a situation like that I would of cut rides through it about 3' wide every 15' top to bottom and run a longnet/stopnet down it, cuts down on too much disturbance and still leaves enough cover to keep the rabbits from moving on.Good Luck on Sunday Y.I.S Leeview We did think along them lines and have left cover still for them Cheers Gaz
  20. You should see tomorrow's lol Cheers bud Gaz
