Bet yous were expecting kingfishers, these guys are really King fishers, great to watch and photograph, a few of my collection of ossie images.
Bestter put a kingy in just in case, ha ha
Cheers matie..
I live in the middle of a town, but in the summer there are loads of goldies, and hopefully I get another nest in the garden.
Got a robin here at the minute that feeds off my hand..great stuff
As say I watched the pair building and rearing..goldie cocks in the wild dont do much around gathering material or actual building the nest, they will accompany the hen to places where she collects, in over 50 years In rarely seen a cock goldie carrying nesting material in the wild
Berwick ,,,,,ain't that whins country,,,,not his love child are you Bryson ,,lol
Whin...ha, ha, ha he always made me laugh
Your not are you Bryson????
"Whinson"
Hope you dont mind me adding a couple of photos of a pair of goldies in my front garden, the cock bird has nested in the garden the last two years, not so sure if its the same hen, dont think so..
Always wanted goldies nesting in my garden..
Ahh wooler
We used to call that the promised land
Yes I'm a lover of clubs, if run correctly and have good ideas
Been in a few over the years
Berwick... Had some good nights around there, fields across the A1 from scremmers, and further up great land
Always thought people put too much emphasis on a dogs height, and it's a debate that should have run out its course years ago, if not fueled now and again by novices
Big dogs can kill rabbits, if didn't take lurcher mania or a bunch of part timers and Geordie hillbillies to show us that
Good videos though :-)
Put it to a silver and you will get a lot of silver coloured offspring, but you will loose type and size, the colour will also get poorer putting back to the normal will strengthen, help keep the size and give better colour
But if you want short term gains of lots of silver put a silver cock to it, another decent option is to put a normal cock split for silver
I've only ever kept lutino and cinnamon greenies and have never paired lutino to lutino or cinamon to cinamon
