    Well just add heat and pressure, look at clay it gets shaped as wed mud and baked in a furnace at a certain temp and comes out dry as stone, hard as stone and shatters when you drop it, but yet when you add water to it it doesnt change back to wet mud as its changed the chemical composition by the heat added

    Fossils are made by minerals in the correct conditions invading the cells of an organism very rapidly, so for animals to be invaded rapidly they have to be buried quickly by a catastrophy normally a flood or landslide as the oxygen needed for decay isnt there nor is predation on a carcass, so by global floods etc the layers anr layed down in the right conditions very fast indeed

    Thats true, how come all these fossils are found in the same layers but not at the level the gem stones are found at? Each wave of the flood deposited a new layer of sediment followed by another then heat and pressure caused them to fossilise, by minerals invading the host cells and replacing the biology in the cells with minerals in the fossils, look at mudfossil university on youtube, very eye opening, look at the leviathan from the bible, and how God cut its head off, and look on google earth at morocco, its there in all its glory fossilised 1500 miles long with a sever on its neck decaying
