I shot for yrs too and you know fine well that not every shot quarry hits the ground dead and sometimes it can run on or duck under the water to try and escape, now in truth it suffers until your dog gets to it or you can get a clean 2nd shot, so how you even think hunting a fox with powerful and efficient dogs is cruel, the fox gets despatched in 2 secs or gets away clean n free.     The farmers have only themselves to blame as they have become dependant on hand outs from Brussels to live as they do, if you or i don’t go to work we don’t get paid so why should they? They should be more independent and start earning they’re wages again by producing and selling they’re goods to the home nations. Same for the fishermen too, and get our own industries up and going and our own people’s back to work and having pride in the place they call home.
