Has anyone seen a homebred dog better a big name coursing dog?
bobza replied to Jobi's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I've got a no name dog here that would of and did put any name money dog to shame. Thing is I was on the Nash and didn't have na cash to match, I would say I've the best single handed dog in the county or did have he's to old now, but there's stuff out him, the no name line will go on, happy hunting -
Whippets don't do to bad,

Glad to get that last run of the season with Oscar, as I step out the car his ears pricked and his nose went up sniffing the air, he went off into the dark like a rocket the beam went on and the chase is on, when he sets his sites on his target day or night he really misses, he bends it once takes a strike and miss judges, flips over, gets up on his feet straight back to it, over a 60mph road, I'm running flat out with my heart in my mouth over the road only to see him make his last kill of the season, time for a well earned rest, hope every one had a good season atb

Soulboy was the sire to the line I've got, the couple litters I've had has produced some hand little hunters, plenty stuff about for you to choose, atb bobza

There is one person that's put more game away than you me lol av put my dogs before job, kids, lass, I haven't even a TV as am to busy working dogs, them pups are very well bred and I would pay what ever was needed to have a well bred pup like that, you've done a cracking job rearing the pups Fuji, I know how much time you would have put in bringing dogs up to a good standard and the risks you've taken, pup is worth any price you ask, money means nowt in life as long as you get by, chin up mate at b bobza

cheers lads , its took the council months to put them signs up , looks like its all over the uk , I wash the dogs feet and dry them off every time there out always done that , might put a foot dip next to back door and wash my boots just to make sure I'm not bringing alabamba in , so with not known much about it and no cure I think this must be a massive worrie for us all , the uk is wet muddy most of the year and that's the condions we run are dogs in ,alabamba has spread fast to lots of the uk , it would be a sad day to see one of our running dogs pass away through something that we know so

suspected Alabama rot in my area ,signs put up within yards of my home ,don't sound good , any light into this ?cheers
