Hi I've used live cage traps for the last few years I've has change both my traps to the pull cord system ( when bait is pulled the door drops ) rather than the pressure plate than they have to stand on . I have had a lot more success now I use the pull bait rather then the pressure plate . What do you prefer to you use .? .? Atb
  2. Pukka videos the last one is excellent . Looks like a nice pint . So when would you say the best time of year of year is to trap squirrels are they easier to trap in the winter .?? Atb
  3. A friend of mine has a couple he imported they are really game with no reverse gear but in my opinion no use in this country two big for most of our earths . Atb

  7. Hi has any one had much luck with cage trapping live cage trap . Squirrels . Have a strip of woodland behind my stables that's full of them . Any tips on positioning or the best bait to use ? Many thanks for any ideas and replies
  8. Personally I wouldn't ask for sensible answers you'll just get just sarcastic comments . If you wanna alrounder I would put a bedlington over your greyhound bitch . A first x should do what you want . Atb
  9. A few yers back I bolted a silver greyish coloured fox from and earth really wish I had netted the earth . Would of been good to get a photo of it . Atb
  10. Those dogs in the photos look like proper old fashioned alrounders. Does any body on here work that types ? Is it mainly deerhound or collie types wher they get there coat from ? Atb

  12. Has anyone worked one of these Norfolk type lurchers or had any experience with them . Considering they were bred in an area with a high population of hares . Has anyone seen one do the job on the long ears ? Any info on the breeding behind them ? Atb

  16. what breeding is in your running dogs stuntman . I heard them being classed as stag hounds but whats crosses are in there breeding , atb
  17. lovely looking dogs Donny c proper strong looking grafters . havnt seen proper jack Russell types as strong built as them for long time .
  18. I've got one and my uncle has a one from a litter I bred a few years back the dad was a red Lakeland Middleton bred and mum was my border bitch . They are both Black and Tan withe more the border head and build But both the dog and bith we kept bak are really off there head game on anything and will work all day . Not the best to look at but work as good good as any other x I've seen . Atb
