Thanks Rez, their not a bad bunch to have lying around! There on a rotation basis, I try to give to give them an equal amount of attention... I do still have a favourite though, but don't tell the others! Ha ha

That's very true Villaman & if one day I was to be converted over to PCP.s, they would be my first choices. But for now I'm really enjoying my springers & working on being the best that I can with them! ATB Daryl

Today I got the chance to test out my Hw97k that Mattbugeye worked his magic on for me. Originally I bought the gun second hand and it was well under power, wouldn't even penetrate a piece of paper at 20 yards. I bought a V-Mach kit and sent that & my gun off to Matty. I zero'ed the rifle out to 25 yards and noticed straight away that it's now a lot smoother, has less recoil & as a result is now more consistent & accurate. It's also clear that Matty has set the trigger so there is a small amount of movement in the first stage and then a predictable light let off f

Got the day off work, so what better way to enjoy the sunshine than out in the garden with my little spring collection. In my opinion, 4 of the best... A Hw95k, Hw80k, Hw97k & AA TX200 HC. I've set up a variety of targets from 15 yards out to 40 to put these rifles through there paces & once again I'm amazed at the accuracy these springers are capable of. The 97k & TX200 are new to my collection & I will be writing a review for them both shortly. Please feel free to add your own gun photo's to this post. ATB Daryl

Hi Lads, Thanks for your replies. That sounds great, I'm all over that. ATB Daryl

Hi guys, Is there any chance that someone could arrange a Hunting Life meet up, perhaps a camping weekend where we can all get together, shoot some targets and more importantly have a laugh? Let me know what you think? ATB Daryl

Hello Matty, I'll have the sling off ya. I'll text you tonight. Cheers Daryl -
I think you made the right decision, you'll have lots of good times ahead and probably get a fair return for it, if you do ever decide to sell up. I've just had my 97k tuned up by mattybugeye from this forum, I bought it second hand and was non workable to start with. She should arrive back to me tomorrow, so i'll finally get to find out what all the fuss is about!

Let me know how you get on...

Some brilliant info here, well done Marksman.

I've always wanted to add a TX200 to my collection. So today I treated myself and bought one off a member of this forum, it was a fair price and looks in great condition from the photo's. He sent it off to me today with parcel force 48hr delivery so she should be with me by Wed/Thurs. I've never had the pleasure of shooting with a TX yet and really looking forward to trying it out, Ive heard some great things and have no doubt she will live up to the reputation. I'll post some pics and a review when she arrives! Thanks for reading Daryl

Checked the tracking info and looks like it wont arrive until tomorrow now, might have to book Wednesday off work to give her a full days attention...

I'm buying my 4th springer this week, So i'm probably not the best person to ask. I always find some way of justifying it to myself... I think that if I get them at a good price to start with, I can always sell them for around the same further down the line if I need to. In the meantime I get to enjoy all of them and always have a few spares to hand if my friends fancy a shoot with me. If you're gonna enjoy it and you can just about afford it, I'd say go for it. You only live once right... Daryl

Thanks for sharing mate, was an entertaining read. ATB Daryl

So tomorrow's the big day... As I said in a post before, I ended up buying a HW97k a couple of months ago for a good price, it's about 4 years old & in very good condition, only problem was that it turned out to be firing well under power & would not even penetrate a paper target at 20 yards! To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly. I had heard so many good things about the 97 & was really looking forward to trying it out. To make matters worse, I'm not too bad at shooting springers but really don't have the confidence yet to carry out work on them, I'm so unpr

Hi Barrywhite, thanks for that info, definitely some good suggestions there. I'm ordering the V-mach kit next week and just hope that will resolve the problem, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hello mate, thanks for the offer. It's a shame that a lot of the good lads on here live to far away from me.

Hi Guys, I recently purchased a second hand HW97k .22, got it for a reasonable price so was pretty happy at the time. I bought it from a fella in London who didnt seem to know much about air rifles. Space was limited and I only got to test it in his garden over a distance of about 10 yards & it seemed accurate enough. A few days later I decided to zero it at 30 yards and soon discovered that its firing well under power, just to give you some idea of how low it is.... When firing at a paper target that's being held in a pellet catcher, the pellet actually fails to pass all the
