I wouldn't be disheartened mate. When your sitting in a fob with fook all and you get a Box with sweets and a bit reading material it's good morale. It does make a difference.

It's hard to believe hammers are finishing mid table. They were playing pure shite before xmas. Went and watched them before xmas my in laws local team. To be fair I no big SAMs not popular but he has don't not to bad with the players he has. The board prob done right thing sticking him out for the season.

I use to get those black sheep in a field up the back of me. I was always worried the dogs would grip one. Think most dog would give chase or hit, if it was sun set time in long grass or reeds.

Yeah I don't know what happened to them all. Only place see rabbits in my local area is round industrial estates and public parks. Have to do a bit driving for rabbits now

The peace makers are good alrounder.I had pair years ago. Lasted few years. Done commando course start to finish with them and lasted a good few years later. I had the none goretex ones feet dried out quick on exersise with them you'll always need a spare pair of boots if you buy goretex they tske so long to dry.do you really think deserts are more waterproof than jungle boots? Neither are ideal but I'd sooner wear trainers if the grounds a bit wet than deserts. Yeah jungles have two holes in them at side to let the water out and made of cloth meterial on sides.I'm the same I would nt adv

You know what's strange mate. I wore lowa boots the black ones for years mate. In really harsh conditions for very long periods of time. Piss wet through jumpin in rivers on Monday. Walking round with 100lb on yer back all week on exersise. All I done was put black polish on them on Friday when I got back in. Polished them on Monday and ready to go. They lasted for years and years and didn't leak. Only thing I didn't like bout lowa boots. The rubber around the side comes away at the bend in the foot. -
Aye me soles have been solid on both of mine. It's same soles on most good boots vibram. Mines burst at the seem on the inside at your ankle. Had them less than 6 months. Think I will go back to alt-bergs.

Donating is the way forward. Made me relies this recently my wife's uncle is went through hell with leukemia for the past 3 years. Had two loads of chemo and a bone marrow transplant. None of it has worked and it's been terrible time for all concerned family n friends. He now has weeks left to live. He's only in his 40s Anyway the reason for me is he was telling me at the time that there is just no marrow transplants in the uk. Because no one is getting scanned to go on there data base. Most of the donnars are coming from abroad.

I got a pair miendl Burma, 2007 they lasted about 4 year. Before they started leaking. great boots. I bought the newer version this year miendl 4 season think there called active Burma or something ankle height. They were just short £200 if can mind right. They lasted about 6 month and burst in the inside. Won't be buying miendl again. Il Stick with alt-bergs
