that makes me f*cking mad.to think they can do that because some c*nt grasses adn they "believe" he's coursing illegally. if i ring up and say i "think" my neighbours a burglar,would they turn up and take every single tool from his house and shed etc?! and for that copper to say this is the people that were poaching before the hunting act came into force anyway?!lol.he's just called everyone into fieldsports a poacher!!

seems it's not needed after all,a bloke on another forum does them and has just quoted me £35(incl posting back to me!) bargain.(he's highly recomended and has done a lot for other members.)

Hi there, Mate trust me if you cut the barrel at 10" and re crown it then put on one of these adapters it will look the nuts,, and it will save you a small fortune, like the other post said at least a oner, and you could do it yourself, here,s one of mine that started as an 17" barrel and I took it down to 11" and fitted the adapter, no lose of power or accuracy,, hope this helps,, Rob. ok,ok,i give in!lol. where is the adapter from?

Dealer or Engineering works and a heafty bill, probably around £100+ for everything to want! already got a silencer,what about if i cut and crown the barrel myself?what would the screw cut cost?roughly!

don't really want an adapter in there though,would prefer barrel straight to silencer. the barrel is 410mm(aprox)long,what would be the best length to go to?i was thinking about 275mm(11 inch)without silencer on?

was just thinking the same thing! will pop in on monday see if they can do it...i have a hw95 that really wants to be a 95k with a hw silencer in place!!

i bought an air rifle from netter yesterday,paid by paypal and he said he'd post it asap.well,the p.o wouldn't let him post a gun so he jumped in his car tonight and delivered it to me. not many would do that so a big thanks to a top bloke to deal with.cheers mate.(and pleased with the gun too!!)

for sale is my .22 mk2 webley eclipse carbine. includes webley 3-9 x 40 scope,one piece mount and webley silencer.the gun has had a very recent strip,polish and relube,new spring and top hat fitted. mechanically perfect,metal work is perfect(silencer has a few minor marks on the end and trigger guard is missing a tiny bit of paint)wood is very good but a few minor scratches and tiny dents that have to be pointed out to be noticed! dont forget deer spread it as well ,the local deer population near me have just gone through a major kull because they are infected with TB,they have shot hundreds . Can you still eat them ? that was my first thought and then saw your reply!! doesn't cooking kill tb?

i did the same thing with an air rifle but shot the lamp my mate was holding! he was sat in the landy,i had to get out and walk round the front of it and take aim at a bunny that was behind the landrover....thought my mate would be watching me not the bunny and i couldn't see the lamp odscuring the muzzle through the scope!!what a bang!! one lightforce 170 and 2 shocked lads later we decided to call it a night!
