I'm not one for bragging but.............. well, let's just say, he's the best in Britian bar none!!! As I say, don't like bragging..... Usually up here in Scotland he'd have had that hare within 10 minutes but we only have cabbage patches up here like.......
sound like a ferret i'd like over my 5/5 mink x . would make top class kits. lol
thing is,when you look at these cheap "branded" scopes on fleabay, they're all all the same scope(most of them)just different names on them! tasco, bushnell, simmons etc. all the same scope body and eyebells etc just the name changed!lol
i heard someone on that airgun site say they're not fake as such.they're licensed out to chinese manufacturer's. not fake but not tasco's or tasco quality....
don't buy the spring and seal seperate though, for the money you might as well buy the kit. its worth it.see my post on this page. i'm a bit pleased with mine!
they're worth every penny mate. seem expensive at 72 quid for a spring, guide, top hat, piston seal, spacers and lube but well worth it! every HW should have one!
fitted my v mach kit today...wow,what a difference.the recoil has halved(at least!)and changed into a firm, precise nudge into the shoulder. the noise has again been reduced, now its a thwack from the action rather than a crack! the muzzle noise is almost gone!(could be the evolution silencer i fitted though!) sounds like a pcp with a factory silencer now!i had high hopes for this kit but i'm blown away!just waiting for the stock to come now..... and a newer scope!(anyone got a 4-12 or 4-16 x 50 scope for sale??)
we found a couple up to no good one night, gave them the blitz through the window(we were in a landy) the lad jumped in the driver's seat and drove off at speed.starkers!!! oh,how we laughed!lol
lead pellets definately do leave a residue.i cleaned a hw silencer the other day and the innards were coated in lead dust!
as for cleaning and relubing, its a new gun,if you feel that its shootin ok wwith no dieseling etc, then leave it for now. just clean barrel every now and then and wipe over with a slightly oily rag after use.
pretty much the same as me for worming and flea'ing. i feed whatever raw is available, rabbit, venison or hare.i also buy in frozen tripe, chicken and beef mince.
ferrets don't get worms anyway full stop.(something to do with the digestive tract being too short) why do you worm your dog every 6 wk if you feel that freezing rabbit does kill worms?
i freeze for two days never had a problem.
i feed raw and worm every 3 month and i've never had a prob. doesn't mean my dogs don't get worms though! as i said,im not saying it isn't enough, just that im sure someone more knowledgable about this than me said it wasn't enough.
