  1. I did a live fire battalion ex in Ukraine in 2001 or 02 I think; and the Ukrainans were cutting about in HIPs with leaky fuel tanks and knackered trucks. Definitely not first rate military kit like the Russians have been building up. It's hypocritical that America gets to choose when it's ok to invade. I shall however sit down and watch Red Dawn. Woooooolllveeeerrriiiines!
  2. Kent? I mean, I'm only guessing
  3. Price? Price for locator and collars?
  4. Distemper jabs? Do you normally get them jabbed for it? I haven't ever but don't know if I should...
  5. That is best; but I worked it all out on my own...
  6. Oh, and I have some books in the for sale section if you want to learn more for sale... £5 each (shameless plug)
  7. It's easy to do basically; tricky to master, the key is to just get out there and make mistakes. Kits are 'nippy' like puppies are and there teeth are like needles.. After a short period of intense handling that stops (just like a puppy) It depends on the ferret and the frequency of how often you go. I go once a week and am pretty amateurish and it is a rare occurrence with me. I work shifts so my care is a little sporadic. I clean out the sh*t before and after work regardless and feed them twice a day. I clean the cage out thoroughly every 6-8 days. I deflea/detick drop and trim n
  8. Domesticated. Shows you in a much better light; than the other video which clearly was edited poorly.
  9. Sell them to butcher? I get £2 each for my surplus..
  10. Yeah I do only 1 day a week; I also don't 'need' big numbers so my need for a locator is a good deal less....
  11. I keep meaning to get one.... I've done all winter without; touch wood it's not been a drama...
  12. Near Hemel Hempstead, Herts. Can travel...
  13. Indeed; except a wild animal not being interrupted is different from watching a domesticated animal do the same thing when you could intervene. The question could be asked; is this about pest control or is it about watching the mink kill a rabbit?
  14. Then they will fit in freezer bags! Also; it'll help you find icky tape worm cysts!
  15. I'm after a dark 'polecat' sable coloured ferret kit; working stock, south east area this spring....
  16. Is that mink actually trained to do anything? You appear to avoid handling it at all costs (don't blame you to be honest) and it's not like that mink is particularly effective at flushing rabbits or killing them; why didn't you kill that rabbit when you had hold of it; instead of stuffing it in the box with the mink? I'm sorry but that video didn't show people hunting and it didn't show you or your mink in a good light. I'll prepare to be flamed but if I filmed the difference between what I do and you do it'd look very different indeed; for a start one of the biggest things I want to d
  17. Surely if you just buy a gun; and keep your ferreting stuff you don't have to buy either for years; decades even (I still have the same Shotguns I got for my 16th and 18th and the same ferret nets (albeit with some shiny new ones) etc since 12ish)
  18. Ok; fair enough... How much for the new nets?
  19. So I want a 3rd ferret for next season and as such am looking for a kit this spring. Question from those that have bred ferrets; do you find it difficult to find homes for the kits; and do you end up literally giving them away... Having never bred before; before I decide to breed from my Jill (something I like the idea of) I want to ensure I'm not going to swimming in ferrets 8 months on... I am not rushing into breeding from her (I'd need to find someone with a good working hob first) and if it seems like public opinion is vehemently opposed I may well in the spring get a kit from els
  20. I thought they were separate glands; and they just released the smell through it; and did not require it to turn itself inside out..
  21. I once saw a clip of porno outtakes and it happened to one of the girls in that "oops" she said and popped it back in.....
