    Glyn. I agree, it would be interesting to get the full story. A lot of questions could be answered. If Mr Nuttall's written pedigree for Judy in 1975 is taken back through Mr Breay's line to 1920 then its hard to see where his Grandfathers Fell x Bull came in. Buck / Breay did line breed the Dog's sire / Dams Grandsire, but they kept going out to Hunt kennels for stud dogs. Coniston, East Kent, Bedale, Ulleswater, Cockermouth etc.... Up to the 1960's there is every type of terrier in the mix. White, Fell, Border, Brindle, and all of these crosses. Judy Pedigree Image -01.jp

    Proves my point,the Beddy was the only terrier getting stuck in,the Lakey went awol,the Russel was an ornament and its only the Beddy that gets the flack.The lads on the shovel were in their comfort zone with 3 terriers like that.ffsake man , I wouldn't watch it or want to . doesn't take a beddy.     With the , getting a mating off the Levi oakes border , I don't think it happened and I know both men and the never say nothing but little bit of bad mouthing. Suppose , one called each other , same.

    gnipper , i don't know about Levi's blood being added this would be after the border blood in the ped posted by p3d, and it was the mating in those terriers i was interested as my dogs go back to a full brother to that bitch and a half brother , when you chat with Brian or as i was doing interviewing him a for a US mag , he is a very clever man and steers almost controls the interview keeping it on the track he wants it to be on , but i wanted dog specific information if he did use Levi's blood it wouldn't surprise me but i never discussed it with him so have no facts sorry Thanks for the rep

    i can trace mine back abit further than that i've had terriers all related to each other for the last 33 year they in turn came mainly from BN kennel with a outcross or two most of which where bred down from the Breay/Buck line i'm not going for KC yet , but some lines can be traced back for about a 100 years nor the show ring , just work.     I respect the men who created the dogs ,and most of the men are gone , but I still respect them.they done it and from keeping what worked good enough.also bn has his dogs back over sixty years and he tell you himself , people say this that , the go back way further out of that century

    Some people only get into these dogs for different intentions. And the short lived on how the get in a mans yard or get there

    A dealer. And a man who has a good yard in order and only keeps good workers doesnt need to go outside his kennel from what he built .and he wouldnt be kennel blind . on the other hand , the dealer, shall we call him , breeds every time his bitches come in season , summer , winter , and breeds quick off stock
