  2. which would mean f**k all to any officer and not go in your favor what so ever, but an extra pair of hands helps to keep your ass twitching as much if your anywhere hot
  3. for what its worth iv ran 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 x's and lurcher types crossed with bull greyhounds, id rather take my chances with a 1/4 bull greyhound bred to a decent coursing dog, or collie lurcher. iv noticed a lot of lads seem to prefer the 1/2 x's, i dont rate them myself they just lack pace and there running style is generally full speed straigh lining then when bends and jinks start coming into a course they start falling back a bit, also lads seem to think when you start breeding away from a half x to less bull they lose gameness and guts which i think is bollox to be honest, greyhounds are a

  6. do many of you lads make your own kennels these days? what sort of design do you go with if so, what do you take into consideration etc, just curious as to what other lads put up for theyre dogs i prefer to make a set up myself if possible, prices for flat packs are out the roof whats youre views on buying in or making your own?

  8. dont mean to sound rude here but when im lamping, im lamping. If i wanted to do a nature trail (see smell hear) id do it another timeYou talk of becoming invisible i can only assume that you mean sneaking off if your poaching. I can only speculate here because i dont poach. But if i needed ti get away i would much rather take my chances in a motor than on foot.dissapear on foot your likely to get away.......try getting away in a motor and you will get the chopper out...... sometimes same applies on foot......speaking from experience

  10. iv tried calling munties with the buttalo call but with not much success the ones that did show interest were quite cautious
  11. using a motor only has its benefits on vast open arable land imo small enclosed fields arnt worth the hassle of driving and better off walked. from my experience long in the past fox and deer were best quarry suited for using a 4x4 rabbits and hares have a habbit of backing towards the motor

  14. same applies to grey x then, speeds not everything in a lurcher, steadyness, nose, feet, coat, looks all play a part in why some people get certain crosses.and im talking 3/4 bred here, most half cross is used for other stuff.half x's good for fcuk all! Haven't got the strength or weight! half crosses have got the strengh and the wieght,no good for f...all,well a half cross make a good terriersmens lurcher, and for bigger stuff there great. why would a terrierman need a half x lurcher?
