if this keeper spent all tis time watcin poachers in theyre red isuzu smashing through electic fences with dogs running loose leaving dead gear up n down the shop why did he not confront them............he has a good account of what went on description of vehicle etc but couldnt drop onto them.........
i had a couple of bully lurchers that were nervy types (both from the same line out of different litters) they were not very good around other dogs and would show aggression if confronted by a dog they wasnt familiar with both dogs spewed in the field but wouldnt hesitate to kill another dog, id personally stay well clear of nervy types from my experience with them 2
.
dogs for jobs mate
1/4 no wind ,ok for 6/7 good runs
i agree with you, i meant 1/4 bull x lurcher didnt word it to well
(edited to add just my personal preference)
gaffer iv had a few half x's and i personally dont rate them as much as a 1/4 type lurcher but they caught hares & deer regular.
i used to think you needed a dog with plenty of speed to put deer in the bag, when i ran a fair share i soon realised how wrong i was
must be generous lads around your way topper, the insulated tools are pricey bits of kit they are like gold if you do any sort of groundworks, they are fairly heavy aswell compared to your every day kit
