  1. Had the pup out a walk this morning along a local footpath. He's sure came out his shell the past few days and is more confident with himself. He seems quite biddable, got him retrieving and old hare paw I had lying around and coming to grips with basic commands. Atb
  2. That's a shame storm, but I suppose it's a gamble we all take. Too many people are quick enough to pass on a mutt and forget about it, good on you. I'm sure she'll be a good companion either way. All the best in your search for another pup. Atb
  3. Cheers rex, I knocked a kennel up when I was about 18 in my mothers garden and forgot to slope the roof safe to say it didn't last long! Was proud of my efforts as well! Atb
  4. Great offer Jord, good on you! All the best in finding her a permanent working home.
  5. That's some kennel gaz! Got another question for you rex, when building the back wall for the kennel and run how much should I drop it for the run off eg; 4in, 5in? Atb
  6. Some great action shots, a good morning out by the looks of things. Atb
  7. I've got a decent sized slabbed area in the garden, I'm just going to run a drainage Ditch for easy cleaning.
  8. Cheers rex, just need to wait on this snow melting to get it sorted. I'll start a new thread when its in progress and no doubt they'll be 101 questions to follow. Atb, beam.
  9. Cheers for the input! I've looked up the price of timber and it works out a lot cheaper at just under £300. I have a few questions beforehand, will 11mm osb2 board be suitable for both the roof and kennel floor? I'll be using shiplap cladding for the kennel wall and surrounding run, would it be ideal to insulat the kennel with kingspan or will the cladding be sufficient? Cheers
  10. Well done one your first permission! First of many hopefully.
  11. A good bag by all means Trev! Youn'un looks keen.
  12. I've been shopping around for a new kennel and came across UK kennels. They seem pretty good in spec and quality, has anyone had any dealings with them and are they worth the money? The kennel I'm looking at is the wilton kennel and run 10ft x 4ft. http://www.ukkennels.co.uk/wilton-dog-kennel-and-run.html
  13. Smart looking bitch! She's going to be some size.
  14. Nice looking animals lurcherlad. Looks like she's coming good, how they bred?
  15. A strong looking animal trunk. Looks like you've been busy, all the best for the rest of the season.
  16. He's a fine looking animal lloyd, credit where it's due!
  17. Big difference in pics! Looks a nice type tom, I'm hoping the pup turns out a similar build. Cheers.
  18. Nice looking mutt tom! Seems quite heavy set from the pics, how's he crossed exactly? If my math is up to scratch my wee fella is 5/8 greyhound 2/8 saluki 1/8 bull. Yis, beam.
  19. Cheers rex! Pics don't do him any justice. Named the wee fella kai.
  20. That's a smart looking mutts jekyll. What's the best way to resize pics on a mobile?
  21. That's a strong looking dog roybo! How do they fair as lamping dogs? Yis, beam.
  22. Nice pup rex! all the best with him. I've been looking through some of the old threads and they seem to be a handy allround cross. This will be the first time I've ran anything with bull and heard double sided opinions but from the ones I've seen run they have been handy mutts. Yis, beam
