  1. Morning all, yes twats included...... Iv bought a huma reg from xtx diy jobbie, youtubed the shit out of it and I'm a pro and its going to be easy.....but if there is anyone who has done it and come up against a problem my 3 hours of top class training may have missed I'd appreciate your advise :-)
  2. Hello manic, if ratting is your aim without breaking the bank a ratcatcher xl will be ideal, good enough for targets at your club too,I dont know what your budget is tho but a second hand s200 would be anothercheaper option than the hw100 s510 etc route, if you want to progress further you will need to upgrade later on tho but as a start its a cheap reliable rifle, then you need to stick a scope on it and decide on a lamp or night vision to see the little sods, I use both and nv is the most effective by far, joining a club is a good idea always there is a lot of knowledge there and usually some
  3. Hw 100 k is the same weight ,if not less than a r10 ,both are the same size guns Half a kilo between them it would seem
  4. The 100s is a heavy old bird mind I prefer myr10 in .22
  5. The answer to the question has just been answered, there are a select few on here like it or not that think they run the forum and you have to "fit in" with them, newbie questions get mocked albeit some of them are rather stupid but if someone wants to learn that's a good thing, take this stupid twat club for example, it's you boys making the thl clicky and ranting on about si just shows the level I'm talking about he hasn't been on here for ages......let it go! Yeh the old people come people go excuse but a lot of the reason people go is because they simply thing what a load of nobs on here.
  6. There was a lad on fb raving about them the other day, can't remember when I started using them, always stick one of the repair patches on a fence post\tree to check zero
  7. Probably the same reason as Adele, to say hello from the other side
  8. I'm lucky I have ground to get out of every direction of wind and woods the same, 3 times a week for me, bit quiet last night tho but the rain is really driving or I'm zeroing I use the parlour as a 60 meter indoor range
  9. Already here....... Two wheels and that..... where us bikers hang out ;-)
  10. Me and the wife had 6 of them yesterday brilliant fun once you've grounded one and a magpie and 2 Grey's great afternoon out in the small wood, dont know about you mark but corvids are the most satisfying to shoot for us out witting the wittiest bird in the sky
  11. Hi, who's "good advice" was that? .22 is better
  12. But you don't have to fill a mag if you need a quick shot tho.....
  13. Still disagree withave that. The first couple mags are enough imo to lead it up for that pellet and you can get a good idea of where you are heading with the next few mags
  14. why didn't you buy samples? ! Bit daft buying whole tins
  15. My r10 likes the aa fields the last one didn't like anything so bsa put a new barrel on it and I left it at the rfd enough was enough lol
  16. And it makes it nearly as good as a .22 using bis mags ;-)
  17. my hw100 would only shoot bis mags well so if I were you I'd stick with them, Any other pellet wouldn't group anywhere near as good,
  18. Im assuming he's asking wether domes hunters or wad cutters are prefered but ultimately comes back to what ever suits the gun and his intended range
  19. Not worth scoping a 177 only worth spending money on a .22 ;-)
  20. Diplomatic or not .177 is rubbish next to a .22 and that's from a convert ;-) love the .22 guess not everyone has the skill to shoot it tho haha
  21. I really like the black in it, looks good mate
  22. No crops on a dairy farm??? I wouldn't be able to find one without a bit of corn or fodder beet or cover crop
