  1. That's what i was thinking I mean she chases birds ducks maybe she isn't seeing them
  2. What age would you expect a puppy to start notice rabbits when on walks etc not catch rabbits as I no patience is a must with a pup but just to notice a little prey drive
  3. Seen 2 today just sat there eatin grass tiny little buggers

Well breaking my pup into the ferrets got an albino gill and she's fine with pup but my polecat Jill hates her she Leaps at her pup is quite excited around her and I think she's a little scared but pup has not tried to bite them or nothing like that and this ferret is normally so relaxed am I right now she has bit the pup she might not go near her again

  6. Ok I asked for that she's easy to train to be honest recall sit and retrieve coming on nicely atb everyone no more silly questions from me

Went out for a walk yesterday with my just under 4 month old pup on an old permission jynere were loads of rabbits about but the pup didn't really take no notice at all is that normal fir her age and will it take more notice as she hits older or is there something I could do to help her I no she is no were near even thinking of running her or anything just thought she would of took more notice atb

  9. Do you expect her to get any bigger then that mines only 4 months and think she's about 16 inches already

  12. Well my pup is16 weeks now and is quite obedient sit fetch etc but one thing she will not do on the retrieve is release from her jaws she growls even try's to nip your hand and it's the same no matter what she retrieves any advice or will she grow out if it

  14. This Jill I have even lays up with em not in a stop end she's incredibly thorough never leaves em and incredibly keen guess il just keep diggin don't mind a dig now and again

She is a good ferret I guess but she don't bolt em she just seems to fight with them she generally comes out with blood all over her she is definatly more confident now don't mind when it's easy digs but she want leave that rabbit ever there you go guess il need to get a digger for next season lol

Well got a kit this year started her at 6 months she worked brilliantly but then about an month ago all she does us lay up with the rabbits have to dig her out all the time she is now about 9 months old do you reckon she will grow out of it or is there something I can do to stop her from laying up thanks atb
  18. Once a year lol no serious once a week is plenty I think and clean shiiiiitttt everyday
  19. Well went for a walk with dog today and can't believe how many young rabbits about might have to call it an end. To an earley season or may by one more then that's it
  20. I had mine in for a couple of days then in the kennel get em used to it blankets and old t shirt or something
